Key Changes
1. Removal of Test Attempt Limits
The most significant change is the removal of all test attempt restrictions. Candidates can now sit the test as many times as needed to meet the standard. This change was implemented following the National Teacher Workforce Action Plan trial.
Note: Standard test fees still apply for each attempt.
2. Improved Results Feedback
ACER (Australian Council for Educational Research) has revised the Literacy and Numeracy statements of results to provide more detailed feedback. Candidates who don't meet the standard now receive specific information about areas needing improvement, helping them better prepare for future attempts.
